Freshly baked Cannabis banana bread
The key ingredients are of course Cannabutter and bananas. It is recommended that you prepare the cannabutter prior to the baking process. The fresher it is the better the taste of the bread. Just before you start baking, melt the stick of cannabutter so that it is easier to mix. As for the bananas, make sure you look for slightly overripe bananas. This way, the mixture is easy to prepare and blends extremely well with the rest of the ingredients. You should however be careful with this since it is easy to get rotten bananas.
Other ingredients include 1 tablespoon baking soda, quarter teaspoon salt and 2 cups of all-purpose flour. Check to make sure that it is all-purpose before you leave the store. Make sure to include 2 eggs and half cup of brown sugar. Assemble everything that you need before you start preparing the mixture. This will save you much needed time in addition to helping you stay organized. As you do this, pre heat the oven to about 320 degrees. Avoid extreme heats since this reduces the potency of the Cannabis bread.
Apply a light layer of the cannabutter on the bread pan. This is important because it prevents the mixture from sticking to the sides of the pan during baking. If you do not do this, the bread is going to have a burnt aroma. Prepare the dry mix by combining the dry ingredients, and they include the flour, the baking powder and the salt. Next, add the cannabutter to the brown sugar in a separate bowl. Mix the two so that you have a coarse mixture. Beat the eggs thoroughly and add them to the coarse mixture. Mash the bananas and add them as well; this constitutes the banana mix.
Add the banana mix to the dry mix and stir repeatedly to obtain a fine blend. It is also important that the mixture remains moistened adequately. Failure to do this results in a poorly baked product. Pour the final mix into the greased bread pan. Bake for about an hour. To test whether the bread is ready, insert a toothpick at the middle part of the bread. If it comes out clean, it is time to remove it from the oven. Allow it to cool before you can relish it along with other snacks.
